Description:
The Spurwink Therapeutic Preschool Program is seeking a Master's level clinician for our special purpose program for children ages 3-5 with development, social, and emotional-regulation challenges. The program utilizes individual, family and milieu treatment (including home visits).
Duties:
You will conduct psychosocial assessments, formulate treatment goals and objectives, collect and analyze data, provide individual and family therapy (sometimes done in the home environment), provide clinical consultation to classroom staff and also follow IEP recommendations. Further responsibilities include facilitation of treatment team meetings, submission of APS managed care, and transition and discharge planning. Children served present with diverse diagnostic profiles and treatment needs.
Qualifications:
Maine state LMSW-cc or equivalent required, LCSW or LCPC preferred. New graduates will be considered and supervision is provided.
