Position SummaryClinical Educator and participates in the planning, implementing and evaluation of education opportunities, including orientation and annual competencies throughout the agency.
The Clinical Educator works closely with clinical leadership and serves as a role model while providing leadership needed to educate and implement evidence based practice for the safety and wellbeing of our patients.
Utilizes instructional techniques and learning principles to assess learning needs, implement job aides, performance criteria and interactive practical experiences to support staff development based on identified educational needs.
Serves as a member of the MaineHealth Nursing Education committee.
This role is based in our Saco Maine office with some travel to our Portland and Rockport offices.
The schedule is Monday - Friday, 8am-5pm.
Required Minimum Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities (KSAs)Education:
Degree in Nursing - Bachelors preferredLicense/Certifications:
Active, unencumbered Registered Nurse license to practice in the State of Maine.
Current BLS certification.
Experience:
Demonstrated clinical expertise in patient care as normally acquired through a minimum of 2 years of clinical experience.
Previous experience in home health and experience as a staff development educator preferred.
Comfort in providing education through presentations is essential.
High level of interpersonal and leadership skillsKnowledge of educational development and design in order to assist in the planning, development, and implementation of educational offerings from a variety of practice settings.

The fraudster will send a check to the victim who has accepted a job. The check can be for multiple reasons such as signing bonus, supplies, etc. The victim will be instructed to deposit the check and use the money for any of these reasons and then instructed to send the remaining funds to the fraudster. The check will bounce and the victim is left responsible.
