J Gaudet Associates is working closely with Viking Restoration DKI (Saco, ME) to conduct a search for a Accounting/Office Manager.

Responsibilities include receiving, assigning and documenting claims, cash flow management, job cost accounting, payroll, AP/AR, bank and credit account reconciliation, monthly closing activities and financial reporting for three separate divisions. Will also coordinate human resource tasks, calendar maintenance and other administrative activities necessary to support the business operation.

Associates degree in Accounting or Finance with at least five years' experience in similar accounting and bookkeeping and/or office manager roles, or an equivalent amount of education and experience. Advanced QuickBooks skills and proficiency with MS Office and Google's cloud-based calendar, required.

Don't Be Fooled

The fraudster will send a check to the victim who has accepted a job. The check can be for multiple reasons such as signing bonus, supplies, etc. The victim will be instructed to deposit the check and use the money for any of these reasons and then instructed to send the remaining funds to the fraudster. The check will bounce and the victim is left responsible.
