Program Manager - Saco

We are looking for someone who is interested in leading a team of seasoned staff in providing home supports to individuals with developmental disabilities. Must be motivated to foster independence, community integration and providing a home environment. Also must have good organizational skills, manage schedules and financial oversight of the homes.
Duties:

Maintain professional, positive and collaborative relationships with stakeholders, including family members, community members, Spurwink administrative personnel, and Department staff.

Support and promote excellence, maintenance of high standards, and proactively raise the minimum expectation levels for staff.

Provide education, resources and/or the tools needed to programs, sites or personnel to further personal growth, understand a problem or condition, and improve quality of services.

Provide quality assurance for assigned programs, assuring paperwork is complete, meetings are held as required and physical environment is mantained.

Understand the PCP process and complete to previously established standards, and/or provide useful feedback and direction to subordinates as applicable.

Function in an orderly and purposeful manner, especially during times of stress and uncertainty.

Is organized with daily tasks and is well informed about the details, activities, and personnel matters in their areas of responsibility.

Assure that records are well maintained, physical facilities issues are addressed, and licensing, MaineCare, accreditation, and Spurwink policies and standards are followed.

Participate in on-call responsibilities and uses sound judgment to provide useful feedback.

Is involved in the creation of new developments, and/or reorganization of existing developments to meet changing program and client needs.

Provide complete and thorough oversight of administrative functions, such as review of bi-weekly timesheets, review of financial documents (cash advances, PC, etd), completion of schedules, assuring that subordinates complete required trainings, homes meet licensing standards, etc.

Promote behavioral interventions taught in behavior management training.

Perform functions of subordinates.

Participate in routinely-scheduled supervision/administrative meetings with staff.


Don't Be Fooled

The fraudster will send a check to the victim who has accepted a job. The check can be for multiple reasons such as signing bonus, supplies, etc. The victim will be instructed to deposit the check and use the money for any of these reasons and then instructed to send the remaining funds to the fraudster. The check will bounce and the victim is left responsible.
